SHERE-E-PUNJAB $$
I love Indian food, and Shere-e-Punjab definitely fits the bill. In addition to catering events on campus, this is a perfect location to take a large group of people, order ten different dishes, and sample everything. The staff is attentive and the food delicious. The flavored naan and roti are worth the extra dollars, but the desserts are not particularly memorable. As with many Indian restaurants, a good selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes is available.

“The restaurant Shere-E-punjab expands the breath of the dinning scene on the main street in media. The common experience we have had at shere-E-punjab is prompt, friendly service and flavorful fare at a good price. Both dishes (chicken tikka masala and lamb korma) exemplified the blending of a mixture of spices associated with Indian cooking to give complex flavor we love. This newly opened (November 06) B.Y.O.B was drawing other diners ready for a taste of the exotic spices of India. Overall Rating: 4forks (out of 5)”TREND
“Shere-e-punjab has become the newest hot-spot in town as word-of-mouth has put it high on the list of must-try dinning in the already hot culinary scene that is media. On our very first visit we found that this was not your run-of-the-mill Indian restaurant but that it had a certain charm about it that was very inviting. Guests are welcomed warmly by the staff as soon as they arrive and the smiles, along with polite service, continue through the meal”. TOWN TALK
